About

MACRO-80 by Microsoft is a flexible assembly language development system. It can be used to develop subroutines for functions not provided by high level languages or to develop entire assembly language programs. Especially useful for I/O driver routines, distributed network applications, time-sharing applications, and virtual memory. Resides in 14K memory with fast assembly rate over 1000 lines/minute. Macros can be defined to generate commonly used instruction sequences. Supports complete Intel standard macro facility including IRP, IRPC, REPEAT, local variables and EXITM. Additional features include relocatable modules, conditional assembly, variable input radix from base 2 to 16, and INCLUDE/PRINTX/PHASE/DEPHASE commands. Accepts either 8080 or Z80 opcodes.
