CV with Composite A/V

A ColecoVision modified for composite video and audio output.

Why it matters

• The console leaves the factory with RF only, which on a modern set is a poor picture at best and no picture at all at worst.
• The modification buffers out the composite signal the LM1889 modulator chip already generates, and brings it to a socket on the case.

It is the most common ColecoVision modification there is, done by numerous suppliers and by hand from published designs. WHOSE KIT OR DESIGN was used here is not recorded, and is the detail that distinguishes one modified console from another.
