CV Homebrew MegaCart Cartridge PCB

A cartridge board for ColecoVision ROMs too large for an ordinary cartridge. A MegaCart board of this kind handles images above 128K, up to a maximum of 512K, by bank-switching - presenting the console with one slice of the ROM at a time, since a stock ColecoVision can only see 32K of cartridge at once.

That ceiling is why the format matters: several of the more ambitious homebrew titles simply could not exist without it.

THE ATTRIBUTION WANTS CHECKING. The open-source MegaCart PCB design on record is credited to Eric Chartre rather than to Harvey deKleine - so this is either deKleine's own board, his build of that design, or a mis-attribution. The board itself will say.
