ADAM cap kit

A set of replacement electrolytic capacitors for a Coleco ADAM, supplied as a kit.

Why recapping

• Electrolytic capacitors dry out over decades whether a machine is used or not. The symptoms are vague - noise on the picture, unreliable drives, intermittent starting - which makes them easy to misdiagnose as something else.
• They can also fail in ways that damage other parts, so replacing them is preventive as much as corrective.

Why a kit

• Sourcing the right values and voltages for a specific machine is the tedious part. A kit is somebody having done that once for everyone.
