Super Action Controller (Single) (EU)

A single Super Action Controller in the European issue, from CBS Electronics.

What is on one

• A pistol-style grip with four trigger buttons, one under each finger.
• A twelve-key numeric keypad on the top face.
• A joystick, and a speed roller - a thumb wheel near the back for throttle and speed.

Why singles exist

• They were sold at retail in pairs, packed with Super Action Baseball. A single is either a replacement, a service part, or a later run sold separately.

Held in the hand they look like boxing gloves, and the design has a fair claim to being the most complicated controller of its generation. Super Action Boxing and Rocky were written for them too - the latter being the pack-in on an American set catalogued here.
