FujiNet with ADAMnet Debug Header

A FujiNet for the Coleco ADAM carrying a debug header on the ADAMnet side - a development version rather than a user's one.

What it is for

• ADAMnet is a single-wire half-duplex bus at 62.5 kbit/s, with every peripheral holding its own processor and taking turns to speak.
• A bus like that is very hard to diagnose from the outside. A header lets an analyser watch the traffic directly, which is how peripheral emulation gets debugged at all.

FujiNet emulates disk drives, data drives and a printer over that bus while also being a network device, so getting the protocol exactly right matters - and this is the board that work was done on.

WHETHER THIS IS A FUJINET DEVELOPER BOARD or a standard unit with the header fitted afterwards is worth establishing from the item.
