FujiNet v1.0 PCB for the Coleco ADAM - DIY Project

FujiNet began as a WiFi adapter for 8-bit Ataris and became something larger: a device that pretends to be whatever peripheral the machine is asking for. This is the Coleco ADAM version, as a board to build yourself.

What it emulates

• Disk drives, digital data drives and a printer, all at once, over ADAMnet.
• A network device in its own right - the part that has no 1983 equivalent.
• Images can be mounted from remote TNFS servers over WiFi, and the ADAM treats them as though they were in the room.

How it attaches

• An RJ12 6P6C crossover cable from the FujiNet IN port to any ADAMnet port.
• Power comes off the ADAMnet bus itself; the MicroUSB socket is optional.
• Real ADAMnet devices can stay connected alongside it, so it adds to the machine rather than replacing it.

The hardware is built on an ESP32-WROVER module, with a push-push MicroSD socket that wants a FAT32 card. Assembled versions are sold by Chris Tersteeg and by mozzwald.
