Notes

An early working ADAMnet Drive Emulator from Lundy Electronics - the proof that the idea worked before it became a product.

What an ADE does

  • It presents itself to the ADAM over ADAMnet as one or more real drives, serving disk and tape images from an SD card. EOS addresses it exactly as it addresses the originals, so no software driver is needed.
  • The emulator software is Sean Myers' AdamNet Drive Emulator, shared openly; the hardware around it has been built in several forms by several people.

Lundy Electronics has produced most of those forms - ADE Lite, ADE Mini, ADE Pro, ADE Pro Plus - and this board is where that line begins.

A PROOF OF CONCEPT IS WORTH KEEPING AS SUCH. What it can do matters less than what it shows, and what distinguishes it from the production units wants documenting from the board.
