Notes

A version of Lundy's ADE Lite built into the ADAM's keyboard - the k in kADEL.

Why the keyboard

  • The keyboard is already an ADAMnet device with its own processor, and it is already connected to the bus by a six-wire lead. Anything living inside it is therefore on the network the drives use.
  • It sits on the desk in front of the user, which is exactly where you want an SD card slot - unlike the back of a console.

The ADE serves disk and tape images from that card and presents itself to the machine as a real drive, so EOS needs no driver. The emulator software is Sean Myers' work, shared openly and built into hardware by Lundy in several forms.
