Notes

A FujiNet built to live inside the ADAM's console rather than on the desk, with an adapter so an external ADAMnet cable can still be used.

What FujiNet is

  • A device that presents itself over ADAMnet as whatever the machine asks for - disk drives, digital data drives, a printer - while also being a genuine network device, mounting images from remote TNFS servers over WiFi.

Why internal works

  • Lundy's power inlet board brings both power and an ADAMnet connector inside the case, which is what any internal peripheral needs to exist.
  • FujiNet normally takes its power from the ADAMnet bus itself, so inside the machine it needs very little else.

An internal FujiNet in a drive bay is a common part of the heavily modified ADAMs the community calls Super ADAMs, alongside an internal ADE Pro or SD-DDP in the other bay.
