A board that fits an ADAM with the General Instrument AY-3-8910, the chip that stands between the machine and the Super Game Module library.

Why one chip

  • Opcode's Super Game Module gives a ColecoVision two things: 32K of RAM and an AY-3-8910 sound generator.
  • An ADAM already has the RAM. The sound chip is the only part missing, so a board carrying it lets a standalone ADAM run most SGM cartridges.

What is on it

  • The AY-3-8910 and supporting 74-series logic, plugging into the expansion port.

The design originated with chart45, whose PCB is published openly; mozzwald built and sold it to the community. Revision 2, catalogued alongside this, adds a case and a line output.
