Bare cartridge boards for the ColecoVision - what a finished homebrew game needs before anyone can plug it in.
Why boards matter
- ColecoVision games are still being published, and each needs a board and a shell. The alternative is gutting original cartridges, which destroys old stock to make new titles.
- Boards from several designers are catalogued here - Harvey deKleine's, PkK's mini board, That Old Nerd's, the MegaCart designs for larger ROMs - along with printable shells to put them in.
What it handles
- ColecoVision cartridges run 8K to 32K, built from one to four ROM chips; anything larger needs bank switching, and the MegaCart format goes to 512K that way.
