Notes

E&T Software's memory card for the ADAM, built to take between 256K and a megabyte - one of the third-party expanders that pushed the machine far past the 64K Coleco offered.

How it is reached

  • It needs the matching addressor card, catalogued alongside this one. Without it the ADAM sees an ordinary 64K expander whatever is fitted.
  • With it, CP/M and T-DOS see the whole card and use the surplus as a RAM disk - the fastest storage the machine has by a wide margin.
  • Ordinary ADAM software still sees only the base 64K plus 64K, which is a limit of the software rather than of the card.

LITTLE IS RECORDED about E&T's board specifically. How it is populated, and what separates it from the MicroFox and Lundy cards in this catalogue, wants confirming from the item.
