A 64K memory card for the ADAM from Orphanware, one of the machine's most prolific third parties.

What 64K does

  • Takes the machine to 144K in total.
  • Gives SmartWRITER 64,000 more characters of workspace - about thirty-two pages of double-spaced text, which is the figure Coleco used to sell its own.
  • Needs no addressor card. 64K is the size the ADAM's bus was laid out for, which is why the larger cards need one and this does not.

Orphanware's range ran from this to 512K, all catalogued here, with the addressor card the larger ones require. Coleco's own 64K expander and cards from Micro Innovations, MicroFox and E&T are here too - between them a fair picture of how many companies kept this machine supplied.
