The second version of Thomas Electronics' mouse for the Coleco ADAM.

The first version

  • Plugged into a controller port and turned mouse movement into joystick directions, so existing software saw a joystick rather than a pointer - and needed external power, since the port supplies none.

WHAT THE SECOND VERSION CHANGED is not recorded and is the whole content of this entry. The obvious candidates are how it takes power, and whether it reports distance as well as direction - the latter being the real limitation of the first design.
