The second of Trisyd's MegaCopy data pack copiers for the ADAM.

What it does

  • Formats blank digital data packs and copies existing ones - the two jobs any owner of a tape-based machine needs done.
  • Coleco's own packs hold 256K over two tracks; formatting one is what makes a blank usable.

The range ran to at least three types plus dedicated formatter versions, all catalogued here. Type III is dated to 1987, and Lundy Electronics reproduces the design today as MEGACOPY REDUX.
