Printer Gender Changer (same as Roller Controller Power Adapter with Pin mod)

A gender changer for the ADAM's printer connection - and, as this entry's own title records, the same part as a Roller Controller power adapter with one pin altered.

What it does

• Turns a male connector into a female one or the other way about, so two cables or devices that carry the same signals but the wrong plugs can be joined.

Why that matters

• It says the two parts are physically the same thing differently wired, which is exactly the kind of knowledge that exists only in a community and disappears with it.
• It also means one can be made from the other, which is useful now that neither is manufactured.
