Discrete Composite A/V Mod PCB with Cable

Yurkie's composite A/V modification supplied as parts - the board and its cable - rather than as work done to a console.

Why that matters

• Most entries under this maker are consoles he modified and sold. This is the kit, for somebody fitting it themselves.
• It means the design outlives the service: a board in a drawer can still be fitted in twenty years, whereas a modification service ends when the person stops.

What the modification does

• Buffers out the composite signal the console's LM1889 modulator is already generating and brings it to a single added jack - the console leaves the factory with RF only.

"Discrete" here means fitted so the machine still looks original, which on a collectable console is much of the point.
