Notes

A diagnostic tool for the ColecoVision built as a shield for the Arduino Mega 2560. It connects to the console's expansion port and exercises the machine from there, so a fault can be identified without probing the board by hand.

What it is for

  • Diagnosing as many of a ColecoVision's hardware faults as can practically be reached through the expansion port.
  • Repair work rather than play - it is a bench instrument, not an accessory.

The project was begun by ChildOfCV and developed in public on the AtariAge ColecoVision and ADAM forum from March 2019.
