Why 2012

• The console launched in August 1982, so 2012 was the first round anniversary that fell while its community was active online and able to organise.
• This catalogue holds a cluster of 2012 and 2013 items from several makers - a patch, mugs, T-shirts, a refinished silver console - which together record what an enthusiast community does with an anniversary.

Coleco Master also refinished a ColecoVision in silver for the same anniversary, catalogued in the hardware section.
