What the anniversaries record

• 2012 produced a cluster of thirtieth anniversary items from several makers - patches, pins, mugs, shirts, a refinished console - all catalogued here.
• 2022 is the fortieth, and by then the community had a French publisher issuing boxed games with 3D-printed dioramas, FPGA consoles in production and a working FujiNet. The hobby had become more capable in that decade, not less.

So the anniversary items are a fair index of the community's state at each point, which is more than most merchandise manages.
