Injoy-A-Stick (Attachment)

An attachment for a ColecoVision controller from Video Product Sales.

What they did

• Clipped or screwed onto the existing stick to change how it was held - a longer shaft, a ball or a moulded grip.
• They existed because the console's own stick is very short and its centring ring wears, and because replacing a whole controller cost more than fixing the grip.

This catalogue holds a good number of them - V.P.I.'s High Score range, Suncom's Snapper, DoubleDown's modern ball knob - which together make the point better than any single entry: the ColecoVision hand controller was uncomfortable enough to support an entire small trade in improving it.
