An Atari Jaguar controller rewired to work on a ColecoVision, from 2008.

Why the Jaguar controller

• It carries a full numeric keypad, which almost no other console controller does - and the ColecoVision needs one, because its games take skill levels and options from the keypad rather than from a menu.
• So the mapping is unusually direct: the keys the ColecoVision expects are already under the thumb.

That makes it one of the more sensible controller substitutions available to the console, rather than a novelty. A Pro version is catalogued separately.
