Yurkie's composite video and audio modification, fitted so the console still looks original - a single jack added and nothing else disturbed.

Why discreet

• On a collectable machine, how a modification looks matters as much as what it does. A neat single socket is reversible in appearance if not in fact; a hole cut in the wrong place is not.

What the modification does

• Buffers out the composite signal the LM1889 modulator chip is already generating, and brings it to that socket - the console leaves the factory with RF only.
