ADAM Hand Controller (Surplus)

The ADAM's version of the ColecoVision hand controller, moulded in tan to match the computer rather than in the console's black. It is the same instrument underneath: a short stick, two side firebuttons and a twelve-key numeric keypad, the keypad being how a game takes options and a program takes numbers.

Worth knowing

• The tan colour is what distinguishes it in a collection; black controllers of the same design were sold with the ColecoVision.
• It plugs into the controller ports on the console rather than onto the ADAMnet bus.
