Small protection PCBs fitted to the ColecoVision controller circuitry to shield the controller-interface ICs from electrostatic discharge. Those ICs are a common failure point on the ColecoVision, and replacing one means desoldering from the motherboard. Ruggers manufactures the boards and fits them as standard in its full-service packages, where they are listed by name alongside new controller ICs and sockets.
