Notes

One of ConsoleMoo's rCAP external supplies for the Coleco ADAM, this version wired with a repurposed beige ADAM printer cable rather than a made-up lead - the original cable that carried power from the printer, put back to the same job from a different source.

Why it is needed

  • Its power supply lives inside the daisy wheel printer, so a printerless machine will not start.
  • The supply must provide +12V on two pins, +5V, -5V and ground; the negative rail rules out an ordinary adapter.
