Multi-Purpose Interface 238-LE1 Interface Card (MIB238-LE1)

Coleco ADAM Expansion Board – The Coleco ADAM Multipurpose Interface Board. Although Eric Pearson’s MIB238 GitHub project page documents how to make one, Lundy Electronics offers these cards for those who don’t have the skills to build their own. They are fairly expensive to create because of build and test times and time to source obsolete and specialty parts. The MIB238-LE1 board does not have the built-in WiFi modem like the MIB238-WiFi version we offer and is for users with a physical modem or other external WiFi modem such as the popular WiModem232. The MIB238-LE1 is a Lundy Electronics custom spin-off of Eric Pearson’s original MIB238 design with the following changes/additions. Limited to two boards per customer.

Integrated /INT line as part of the design for speeds up to 19,200 baud
Repositioned components for more room around areas including the serial connectors
Configuration text directly on the PCB without the need to reference the documentation
Replacement of the original two-pin connector for the addressor out signal to a single connector (The original ground pin was not needed and was causing confusion for people on how to properly connect to it.)

No solder mask in the finger area for optimal connection, as well as a beveled bottom
The MIB238-LE1 card cables are sold separately so you can configure it the way you want to keep the cost down.
