ADDRESS BOOK FILER & AUTODIALER

Coleco has begun shipnent of "Address Book Filer • and "Autodialer,• a software plus peripheral package for the ADAM Family Computer System. Available in both digital data pack and 5 1/4" floppy disk formats, "Address Book Filer• is the latest title in Coleco' s growing library of Horne Information Management programs.

The "Address Book Filer• program allows the user to create an electronic address book by making, saving, finding and updating several hundred entries at the touch of a key. Each entry has twelve features for the user to fill i n. These include basics such as last name, first name, address, home phone and business phone, as well as three note features, which may be used to create birthdays, favorite colors or other pertinent personal features. Four of these features are searchable as well , allowing the user to access lists of people by first name, last name, city or even by a personal feature such as birthday month.

"Address Book Filer" may be merged with Coleco 's recently released "SmartLetters and Forms" software program to print personalized form letters. The user may also create a format with SmartWriter, ADAM's built- in word processing program, and merge it with "Address Book Filer" to create personalized form letters and mailing labels. The accompanying "Autodialer" hardware is a simply installed peripheral that connects with the user's existing telephone, allowing the user to make local and long- distance telephone calls easily and automatically.

MIB238 v7 with integrated Wifi
Although everything is documented on how to make your own on Eric Pearson’s MIB238 GitHub project page at https://github.com/epearsoe/MIB238, I’m offering a small run of these for those that don’t have the skills to build their own. These are fairly expensive to build because of build and test times, sourcing an obsolete part, and a few other specialty parts that aren’t cheap.
I’m going to approach this the same way the original MIB cards were sold, with the MIB238-WiFi card and cables sold separately so you can configure it the way you want to keep the cost down from needing unnecessary cables. This new version removes the serial port connector and replaces it with an integrated WiFi modem for up to 19.2k baud. It also has a terminal port for external 80 column support, parallel port for printer, boot PROM socket, and supplies a memory expander signal for memory expander cards over 64K.
Unlike the older version, if you just need WiFi modem, boot PROM, and expander signal, then there is no need for an external cable coming out of the console. This version saves on the cost of a serial ribbon cable, external modem/WiFi modem, and external power supply.

ADAM Fuji Lite

This small variant has all the same power and capability as a standard FujiNet device except it utilizes a single ADAMnet activity LED.

ADAM Internal FujiNet/Bluetooth

This is a hardware variant based off the official ADAM FujiNet design. It has been modified to mount internally into an ADAM Dummy Data Drive assembly (not supplied) and uses a full-sized SD card slot. The great developers of the FujiNet project and their willingness to allow anyone to build units without restriction made this build possible. More FujiNet project information and future firmware updates can be found on the official FujiNet website at www.fujinet.online.

Announcement

FujiNet

The ADAM FujiNet is a multi function peripheral for the Coleco ADAM Family Computer. It currently provides floppy disk emulation, DDP (cassette) emulation, printer emulation and an all new network device. This single device has everything you need to use the Colecovision ADAM in the 21st century.

FujiNet has a built-in CONFIGuration disk that loads when you start up the ADAM. In CONFIG, you can setup your WiFi network and select which disk images to mount in the virtual drives. Disks can be loaded from the on board MicroSD card socket or from TNFS servers over the internet or your own personal server.

FujiNet Prototype

Pre production test devise in limited distribution.

Low Cost FujiNet V1.6

These are called general purpose, due to the interface its not only dedicated to Atari 8 bits computers; the unit is detachable, a DB15 to SIO, DB15 to DIN6, DB15 to RJ12, DB15 to DB19... allows you to connect the Fujinet v1.6 to each supported (currently or future) computer such Atari 8 bits - Coleco Adam - Commodore 64 (remember that C64 is not released yet by Fujinet team)

The unit includes all the hardware elements of Fujinet v1.6, also the Coleco Adam interface components. Via jumpers, you can select the desired operation, if Atari 8 bits SIO or if you desire Coleco Adam Interface. As well, the unit can be powered externally, or via the SIO interface. There is a jumper to change this selection. The USB interface is included, in order to update the device.

Microcontroller is the same, an ESP32 WROVER with 16 MB flash and 8 MB PSRAM

FujiNet V1.0

Multiplayer cross-platform games for retro computers is now possible with FujiNet. ADAMcala is a new mancala game written for Coleco ADAM and has support for network game play (video). There is also a port of Connect 4 for both the ADAM and ATARI that provides cross platform play (video).

The hardware is a carrier board for the Espressif ESP32-DEVKITC-VE development module with 8MB of PSRAM and 8MB of internal flash storage. On the carrier board are supporting circuitry for connecting to the ADAMNet bus, IN and OUT RJ12 ADAMNet ports, 3 push buttons, 3 status LEDs, an ON/OFF power switch and a push/push MicroSD socket. All this fits in a custom designed 3D printed enclosure.

MIB238 WiFi

Mr. Pearson's Multi-Interface Board 238. To be clear we did NOT design them, we only build them for you to use.  As described on the GitHub Website:

The Multipurpose Interface Board (MIB238 board) is a redesign of the Micro Innovations MIB3 board that only requires 5 volts using modern MAX238 transceivers. The MIB238, like the MIB3, adds a BOOT PROM socket, two RS-232 ports, a parallel port, and a memory expansion board addressor port to your ADAM computer.

We have made them in the following varieties:

MIB238 version 5:  Gives you everything as described above.

MIB238 version 7: Gives you everything as described above AND a WiFi adaptor.  It is programmed with Modem software.

You also may choose to add on a BOOT EPROM
