OKARA

A programmable user interface shell for CP/M from Kiai Systems. A suite of small programs that jointly constitute a friendly, efficient, programmable user interface. OKARA stands between the user and the computer, interpreting commands and directing operation. Most components run at the top of the Transient Program Area (TPA) invisible to properly written CP/M programs. Its most important feature is programmability — the ability to execute sequences of commands using a DO-language for writing scripts. Scripts can call other scripts, pass parameters, include console I/O, and receive results from transient programs. Upward-compatible with CP/M submit but far more capable. Besides PAGE and PHOTO forward programs, the OKARA disk contains over 50 programs and scripts. The manual has 124 pages with Index, Table of Contents, and many examples.
