SCNCHOP

Screen Chop takes data coming to the screen in long lines and chops them so they display as individual lines, eliminating the need for horizontal scrolling. Specifically designed for the Cleco ADAM (CP/M) and other CP/M computers with screens less than 80 characters wide. The SCREEN CHOP program loads itself under the CP/M operating system up out of the way so it does not interfere with other programs. Features include configurable line width toggle using the ADAM Delete key, paging option toggled with the ADAM Undo key (halts display after first 22 lines), configurable toggle key for turning Screen Chop off and on, and configurable paging on/off key. Instructions are included for reconfiguring the program for different line widths and key assignments. A carriage return will allow the next 22 lines to be displayed; pressing the space bar will cause the next 5 lines to be displayed.
