Description
Nine innings of baseball, seen from behind home plate. You bat and the computer pitches. Each of your nine batters gets a batting average for the game. The pitcher winds up and the ball comes in at one of three speeds, over the plate or high, low, inside or outside. Swing at a strike at the right moment to hit it: the better your timing and the batter's average, the better the hit, from a ground out or fly out to a single, double, triple or home run. Swing late or early and it is a foul tip or a miss, and swinging at a ball is a strike. Three strikes are an out, four balls a walk, and three outs end the half inning. One player's Greens face the computer's Blues; two players each bat for a team.
Controls: A side button swings. In a one-player game either controller works; with two players, the batting team's controller. On the title, up and down choose and a button starts.
