Description
Your plane flies over a meadow of clovers above a hive wall, and under the wall sits the swarm. The plane never stops: it moves one step the way it faces, in eight directions, and you turn it left or right. A clover or the edge of the meadow halts it until you turn away. Your laser reaches up to seven steps and burns the first thing it meets: a clover or a piece of wall scores 50, a bee 100 and the chaser 200. Bore through the wall and shoot enough bees to clear the swarm, and a new one arrives with a fresh meadow and eight ships again. A chasing bee, or sometimes a crab that leaves clovers behind, homes in on you; touching it costs a ship. Lose all eight and the game ends.
Controls: Use either controller. Push the stick left or right to turn the plane and press either button to fire the laser. On the title, up and down choose and a button starts.
ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From COMPUTE!'s Gazette, July 1984: original Commodore 64 program (no author named in the issue). The issue printed both Commodore 64 and VIC-20 versions; this follows the 64 listing. This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
