Description

An educational game that teaches binary numbers by building a castle. A number from 0 to 15 appears as a row of four stones, with a lit stone for a 1 and an empty one for a 0. Work out which number it is and give your answer. Get it right and the row flies up and joins the castle, one row higher each time, and the sum is shown beneath, such as 8+2+1 = 11. The place values 8, 4, 2 and 1 are written under the castle as a guide. Stack twenty rows and the castle is finished: YOU DID IT!!! One wrong answer and the castle crumbles row by row, the correct answer is shown, and the game ends. Your best height is kept.

Controls: Use either controller. Push the stick up and down to pick the number, holding it to run through them, and press a side button to answer.

ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From COMPUTE!'s Gazette, November 1983: original Commodore 64 program (no author named in the issue). An 18-line BASIC program; the disk's VIC-20 file was a copy of the 64 one. This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
