Description
BLACK and WHITE face each other in a walled arena with four inner walls. Each throws bombs the way he faces, and the bombs never stop: they bounce off the walls, knock each other into new directions and slowly fill the arena. Push the stick toward a new direction to turn, and push again to walk; a wall or the other player blocks you. A bomb thrown on the move flies at walking speed, one thrown standing still at half speed. A bomb that reaches a player, or a player who walks into a bomb, costs a life, and the next round starts in a clean arena. Each player has five lives, and the last one standing wins. Two people can play, or one against a computer WHITE at EASY or HARD.
Controls: Controller 1 plays BLACK and controller 2 WHITE, unless the computer plays WHITE. The stick turns and walks, and either button throws a bomb. On the title, up and down choose and a button selects; on LEVEL it switches between EASY and HARD.
ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From COMPUTE!'s Gazette, January 1989: original Commodore 64 program (no author named in the issue). This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
