Description
Ten levels of catacombs lie below, each a large map seen through a window that scrolls as the explorer nears its edge. Every level holds gold worth 50, traps that take 50 gold away, and one key worth 100. The key opens the trapdoor to the next level, and reaching a new level adds 25 gold more. Three monsters of the level's kind (skulls, wizards, bats, spirits or snakes) shuffle toward the explorer, one step each in turn, and a single touch ends the game. The first five levels are lit; on levels 6 to 10 the floor is dark, and only the explorer's lantern shows the gold, traps, key and monsters close by. Escape level 10 with as much gold as you can. The most gold is kept as the high score.
Controls: Either controller: the stick walks the explorer in eight directions; hold it to keep walking. On the title, up and down choose and a button starts.
