Description
Fly a helicopter low over rolling country that streams past from the left. The button is your throttle: hold it to speed up, let go to slow down. Pull the stick back to climb and push it forward to dive. Every stretch you pass scores by how low you fly, up to 5 points. Flags, radio masts, trees and birds stand on the flat stretches; touch down gently on a flag to take it for 100 points. Hitting a mast, a tree or the birds, or scraping the ground, is an ERROR, and at 20 errors the sky turns yellow. A level ends when you have flown its miles, its clock runs out or you reach 25 errors; you go on only if your score has reached the level's bonus mark. There are five levels.
Controls: Use either controller. Pull the stick back to climb and push it forward to dive (PILOT), or push up to climb and down to dive (ARCADE); a button is the throttle. On the title, up and down choose, left and right change, and a button starts.
ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From COMPUTE!'s Gazette, October 1987: original Commodore 64 program by Chris Boss. The header cites the Gazette disk for October 1987. This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
