Description
A security computer has gone haywire, and pulses of electricity run along the wires of its circuit board. You cannot steer the pulses, but you can throw the board's switches: one direction throws the bridges, two others throw the left-hand and right-hand shunts, and the last cycles the colours of the transporter pads. Route the pulses into the pyramid power points; three hits destroy a pyramid, and a board shuts down when all its pyramids are gone. Hidden chips turn or reverse pulses unseen. A pulse that runs into a burnt-out hole or crosses a bridge set the other way crashes the circuit and costs a life, unless a safety is on. You have three lives a game and three safeties a board. Clear all five boards and they return with one more pulse.
Controls: Use either controller. Push up to throw the bridges, left for the left-hand shunts, down for the right-hand shunts and right to cycle the pads' colours; a side button starts a safety. On the title, up and down choose, left and right change the number of pulses, and a button starts.
ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From COMPUTE!'s Gazette, December 1989: original Commodore 64 program by Eric Haines. This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
