Description

Your yellow car drives clockwise round four nested lanes, while the computer's red car drives the other way and tries to hit you head on. Drive over every dot to clear the level. In the middle of each side the lane walls open, and a car passing a crossover moves to the lane chosen on the LANE meter: push left for a lane further in, right for one further out. The catch is that the red car takes your chosen lane too. Hold a button to brake the red car to half speed, while the BRK bar lasts. A collision costs a car, though eaten dots stay eaten. You have three cars, with a bonus car on reaching levels 3 and 6. From level 4 each dot must be driven over twice, and each level is faster.

Controls: Use either controller. Push the stick left or right to choose the lane, holding to repeat, and hold either button to brake the computer's car. Any button starts.

ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From COMPUTE!'s Gazette, February 1987: original Commodore 64 program (no author named in the issue). This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
