Description
A war for control of space, fought on a honeycomb board of 36 sectors in nine columns of four. Up to four players, human or computer, take part. First each player in turn claims an empty sector until all are taken, then places the rest of the starting armies on their own sectors. Every turn after that brings new armies to station on your sectors: more for every sector you hold, and 8 extra for each whole column. Then you may attack as often as you like from any sector with more than one army into a touching enemy sector. Dice decide each clash, the defender winning ties; wipe out the defenders and you move in. Each turn ends with one troop move between your own sectors. Own all 36 sectors to win.
Controls: The stick moves the cursor from sector to sector. The left button chooses; the right button ends your attacks, skips the troop move or backs out of a choice. When setting a number, up and down change it by one, left jumps to the least and right to the most, and the left button confirms. On the title page each player is set to joystick 1, joystick 2, computer or off.
