Description
An American history word jumble. Each game asks five words picked from 33, each shown with its letters scrambled, and you rebuild the word from the letter blocks within 30 seconds. Right with no clue scores 10. Wrong or out of time, a clue appears and you try again for 7, then 5 after the second clue and 2 after the third; after that the word is shown for no points. A word is never asked twice in one game. After every word your covered wagon rolls west across the map to the stop your score has reached: under 20 STUCK ON EAST COAST, then ALMOST TO THE MISSISSIPPI, MADE IT TO THE ROCKIES, and at 40 or more CALIFORNIA AND GOLD!
Controls: Push left and right to choose a letter, press the left button to lay it down and the right button to take the last one back. In menus, push up and down and press a button.
