Description
A geography chase across a political map of the world as it stood in 1990, with 149 countries. A criminal hides in one country and you start in another. Travel from country to neighbouring country to reach his hideout; an arrow at the edge of the map points towards him, and you see him once he is on your part of the map. Each turn he may slip away to one of his neighbours, and each of his moves takes $100 off the $10,000 bounty. Catch him, then take him back to the country you started from before the time runs out, six minutes at level 1 down to one minute at level 6, or he escapes and the chase begins again. If the bounty reaches $0 he gets away for good.
Controls: Use either controller. The stick points at a neighbouring country, the right button steps through the choices, including STAY and LOOK, and the left button goes. In LOOK the stick scrolls the map and a button returns. On the title, push up and down to choose a line, left and right to change it, and press a button to start.
ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From COMPUTE!'s Gazette, March 1990: original Commodore 128 program (no author named in the issue). This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
