LARC-I Mission

You fly the LARC-I, a white delta jet, low over enemy land as a green plain scrolls toward you. Rock ridges cross the whole land with two gaps to slip through, and radar masts, pines and bunker domes stand in your way; touching any of them destroys the jet. A red heat-seeking missile climbs from the bottom of the screen right beneath you, always following you across. The only cover is to keep something solid between you and it, so that it bursts on the ground; if it reaches the jet, the mission ends. Every row of land you cross adds 5 to your distance, and the longest distance is kept. Choose from three levels: higher levels scroll faster, bring ridges closer together and launch the missiles sooner.

Controls: Use controller 1 or 2. The stick flies the jet. On the title, up and down choose a level or the credits, and a button starts.
