Description
First-prize winner of the $10,000 programming contest run by COMPUTE!'s Atari ST Disk & Magazine. Armies of reflective pieces face off on a 9 by 9 board, and each side's laser is the only piece that fires. A turn is two moves, to step, rotate or fire, with beams bouncing and splitting off mirrored faces. Eliminate the enemy king by laser or capture. A computer opponent is optional.
Controls: The stick moves the cursor; the left button picks up and puts down, and the right rotates.
