Lawn Job

You have been hired to mow a lawn. Your mower starts in the street with its engine off: press the button to pull the cord until it catches. Then drive over every patch of tall grass around the house, garage, fences, hedges, tree and bird bath, earning 5 cents a patch. Rocks hide in the grass. Hit one and the engine dies, costing a 50-cent repair and another round of pulling the cord. When the whole lawn is cut, drive up to the garage door and press the button to have your work looked over; if patches are left you are sent back. Your pay is what you earned, less the repairs and less the time the job took, so a slow job can leave you out of pocket.

Controls: The stick drives the mower one patch at a time; hold it to keep going. A button pulls the starter cord. To end the job, hold the stick toward the garage door and press a button. On the title, up and down choose and a button starts. Either controller works.
