Description
A word search against an energy meter. Ten words hide in a field of 20 by 15 letters. Move the cursor onto a letter of a hidden word and press the button: the letter lights up and your energy rises by one. Light every letter of a word to find it, and find all ten to win, with your time shown. Pressing a letter that belongs to no word costs one energy and brings TRY ANOTHER, and the energy also drains at random moments. Now and then a clue names a word you have not started. Level 1 hides words forwards across or down, level 2 adds backwards and level 3 adds diagonals. When the energy runs out the game is over and the words you missed are shown in red.
Controls: Use either controller. The stick moves the cursor and a side button marks the letter under it. On the title, push up and down to choose and press a button to start.
ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From COMPUTE!'s Gazette, February 1986: original Commodore 64 program by Ron Wilson. A second build of the same program as #124 (identical source). This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
