Meteor Strike

Your rocket is caught in a meteor shower. Steer with the stick and shoot in the direction you last moved, one shot at a time. A big meteor is worth 100 and a small one 200. Six meteors tumble across the field, drifting off one side and returning later, and some are aimed at where the rocket is, so standing still does not pay. A meteor that touches the rocket costs one of five ships. Survive each level until LEVEL COMPLETE: every meteor left bursts and scores, and the next level's meteors fly faster. Finishing level 8 gives an extra ship, and level 9, the last, goes on until the ships run out.

Controls: Use controller 1 or 2. The stick moves the rocket and either side button fires. On the title, push up and down to choose and press a button to select.
