Description
Raiders fly out of hangars on either side of the night sky above a small town, cross a lane, then come back out one lane lower, four lanes in all. A raider on the lowest lane lets down a crackling ray that wrecks the first building, or the cannon, it passes over. Shoot them first with three guns: the centre cannon fires straight up, the left bunker up and to the right, and the right bunker up and to the left. Faster raiders are worth more. When a wave ends, every building still standing is worth 1,000 points, and each 10,000 points rebuilds one. If nothing is left standing at the end of a wave, the game is over.
Controls: Controller 1 or 2. The button alone fires the centre cannon, left plus button the left bunker, right plus button the right bunker; holding the button fires again as soon as the last shot is gone. On the title, up and down choose and a button selects.
ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From Ahoy! No. 62, February 1989: original Commodore 64 program (no author named in the issue). This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
