Description
Fly through the sectors of a spiral galaxy, over alien planets and through open space, in a fast into-the-screen shooter inspired by the Star Fox games, running at a near-steady 60 frames a second.
Controls: the stick flies your ship, the left button fires and the right button does a barrel roll. During the roll you’re safe from everything.
Enemies: fighter squadrons, rocks and gunners. Pick-ups can upgrade your blaster or repair you.
Bosses: the Mothership, whose hangar door shields its core, and, at the spiral’s end, the Maelstrom’s Eye with its circling guards.
Music: original music throughout. A jukebox cartridge, NOVA RUN JUKEBOX, plays every tune on its own.
Tip: you can only hit a boss’s core when your ship lines up with it.
