Description
An educational arithmetic game set on a building site. Each turn the site office hands you a PROJECT, a number from 100 to 999, and a few MATERIALS, different digits from 1 to 9. Build the project using the TOOLS plus, minus, times and divide: a chain of up to eight materials joined by tools, using each material as often as you like. Multiplying and dividing come before adding and subtracting, and the running total shows as you build. Press BUILD and the crane raises a building as tall as you came close. Your score depends on how near you got, the level, and the seconds left in the bonus time. BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED differ in materials and clock time. One or two players take turns over five rounds.
Controls: Use either controller. Push left or right to move along the chain and up or down to turn a slot through the materials or tools; the button steps right or presses BUILD. On the title, up and down choose a line, left and right change players and level, and the button on START begins.
ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From COMPUTE!'s Gazette, March 1986: original Commodore 64 program (no author named in the issue). This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
